Once again we (our Vista Grande leadership team) had a great time at Fite Ranch. Thank you and Dewey for your continued hospitality and generosity. The opportunity to get away from the rest of the world for a short time in such a peaceful setting is wonderful---and productive.

John

I can’t tell you how much we’ve enjoyed our stay! To think that I almost found you by accident, because I wanted to see the Bosque del Apache, and nothing in Socorro looked particularly promising…this place was perfect! Everything was great and so thoughtfully put together-from the excellent breakfast, to the huge bowl of fruit, to the great cowgirl art. We’d love to come back and stay longer next time. Today was perfect-we started at the Bosque del Apache at dawn, saw pelicans, a king fish, tons of ducks and a golden eagle! Drove out to the Very Large Array and had a nice chocolate malt at Evett’s Soda Fountain in Magdalena. It was like going back in time. Then we took your suggestion and hiked out to “the chimneys”- it was a beautiful sunset, and made it back just ahead of a little storm-saw lots of lightning in the west-very dramatic. We sat on the swing in the back last night when all the stars were out-amazing!

What a contrast! We get to wander about this restful area, watch the sunset and sleep soundly while you both toil away to bring your vision to life. Somehow it must agree with you-you’ve certainly created a peaceful experience for the rest of us. Thank you for everything.

We completely enjoyed our stay here at the Fite Ranch. The 360 degree views are awesome. The rooms are beautiful and made our 3rd anniversary very special. I’m sure your dream will continue to come true in very special ways. We will plan on returning and will be sure to let others know about this very special place, off the beaten path. Everyone likes to go some place special and unique and your ranch, B&B is both. Thank you once again for being so kind and gracious, you are a wonderful host. We’ve taken some pictures and will share them with you after we finish our trip. Best of luck to you and your family. God bless you all.
